Sierra Sikora is a 19-year-old artist whose style blends pop, singer-songwriter, and folk influences. Her music, characterized by raw honesty and emotional depth, seeks to connect with listeners and provide comfort through heartfelt lyrics and melodies. Sierra writes and produces all of her own music, ensuring a personal touch in every track.
Sierra's passion for music has been evident from a young age, beginning with church performances at age 3, and then musical theatre at age 9. With over 30 shows under her belt, she has quickly cemented herself as a regular performer around her hometown- Chicago- and university campus. She has played various venues including Lincoln Hall, Lollapalooza, Pygmalion Music Festival, and headlining Schubas! She's also done meet & greet events across the country in Dallas, New York, Nashville, and even in London! She's opened for multiple notable artists as well, including Esha Tewari, Sofia Isella, Nick Carter, Billy Corgan, Hannah Cohen, and Josie Edwards. Professionally trained in both classical and contemporary voice styles, her voice offers a unique and versatile sound. Whether it be an upbeat full-band set, or an intimate acoustic show, Sierra is sure to captivate audiences with each performance!
This year, Sierra released her self-produced debut EP, Confessions, following a sold out EP release-party at Uncommon Ground. She later released single 'Hopeless Summer' and played a packed headline show coined "The Hopeless Summer Show" at Schubas Tavern. Over the past few years, she has worked fervently and passionately at her musical goals, and her commitment has shown. Her music has garnered over 800,000 streams across streaming services with over 100,000 all-time listeners. She has formed a wholesome community of listeners, affectionately known as the 'Sierra Squad'. As she continues to develop her sound, Sierra’s dedication and talent promise to deliver with her forthcoming releases.
